Standard Contract Clauses
Watershed as a US based SaaS provider is committed to providing a robust data privacy program and assisting its EU based clients in meeting their obligations as Data Controllers. Watershed is a participant in the EU/US Privacy Shield, and has utilized this as the approved data transfer mechanism with many of its clients. As of the 16th July 2020, the European Court of Justice invalidated the EU/US Privacy Shield. As such, Watershed and its EU based clients need to appoint a new data transfer mechanism so that Watershed can continue processing EU data in compliance with the GDPR.
Please see below a pre-signed contract addendum appointing the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as the new data transfer mechanism for your agreement with Watershed. Please arrange for an authorised signatory to sign this addendum, and then return it to privacy@ltgplc.com. Once Watershed receives your validly completed document at this email address, this addendum will become legally binding
