Explore Detailed Lectora eLearning Analytics in Watershed

Watershed gives you in-depth eLearning analytics on Lectora course slides, interactions, questions, and assessments.

Are your Lectora eLearning courses working? How long do learners spend on each part of a course? What topics do learners misunderstand in the assessment? Which slides, sub-screens, and interactions do learners use? Find the answers to your questions with Lectora data in Watershed.

Watershed empowers you to make data-driven decisions with easy-to-use dashboards and customizable reports. As a result, your employees, managers, and L&D teams can make informed decisions and spot trends like never before.

Once you’ve connected your Lectora data, you can build a complete picture of your learner behavior and program performance by adding other data sources across your entire learning ecosystem.

Use detailed eLearning analytics to understand learner behavior and content performance.

With Lectora eLearning course and quiz data in Watershed, courses you can report on:

High-Level Course Metrics

Report on course completion, success, score, and time taken. This includes comparing groups and cohorts via integration with your HRIS hierarchy information.

Leaderboards

Line managers can check people’s attempts and scores with team leaderboards.

Evaluate Question Responses

Analyze how learners respond to questions, including how long they take to answer and which options they select. This helps you identify questions that may need improvement or learner knowledge gaps and misconceptions.

Watershed’s Activity report provides all the visualizations needed to explore your Lectora eLearning course data in one rapid-configuration report. Choose the course you want to report on, name your report, and save it. The Activity report includes:

  • Overview of overall completions, successes, and failures and by organizational unit.
  • A score distribution chart for analyzing learner performance.
  • A leaderboard of first/last/best scores per learner with interaction history.
  • Charts showing scores, completions, completion times, and successes over time to compare and monitor performance trends.
  • Organizational unit comparison tables.
  • Question-by-question results, including how many people chose each option and the average time taken per question (where the data is available). This includes specially designed visualizations based on each interaction type (e.g. multiple-choice, matching, sequence, etc.).
  • Question analysis identifies easy or hard questions and questions with a high or low correlation of success with overall quiz success. You can use this analysis to identify questions that need to be reviewed and potentially re-written to improve the assessment.

Custom L&D reporting means custom interactions.

Connect Lectora data to Watershed to gain invaluable insights into how people use your custom eLearning features. That means you no longer have to sacrifice reporting data to make your courses enjoyable!

Lectora triggers, variables, and JavaScript features enable advanced users to create custom eLearning interactions—such as branching scenarios, mini-games, or custom assessment tasks. You can now track and report on all these interactions using custom xAPI tracking in Lectora combined with Watershed’s flexible and configurable reports and dashboards.

More data means more L&D insights.

Combine your Lectora data with HRIS and business data for deeper insights, including:

  • Filtering reporting to a specific department or team.
  • Comparing the performance of different parts of the organization.
  • Evaluating learning’s impact on business metrics and job performance.

Don’t forget that you can gain insights across your entire learning ecosystem by combining your Lectora data with other data sources, including:

How do I convince my stakeholders?

The enhanced insights you get from connecting Watershed with Lectora allow you to improve your learning programs and learners' experience continuously.

How does Watershed work with Lectora?

You can host Lectora content published for xAPI tracking in any learning platform that fully supports xAPI tracking of content and data integrations with an external LRS. This includes platforms—such as xapimed and SCORM Cloud—and LMSs, such as PeopleFluent Learn and Bridge.

We work with your LMS or learning platform vendor to set up the connection so that data from courses you upload to Watershed flows directly into your reports and dashboards. This means that you can keep track of your content and learners in near real-time as they work through your courses.

We’ll handle this process for you from start to finish, so you can sit back and relax while our data experts do their thing.

What data is included?

Lectora tracks learners throughout the eLearning course. This includes:

  • Course completion and success status
  • Overall time taken and scores
  • Slide views and time taken
  • Question responses
  • Custom tracking for custom interactions
