Release Notes: Multiple Dashboards

Highlights include: Multiple dashboards, new developer debug tools, and new download capabilities.

Multiple Dashboards

Watershed_add_dashboard.gifAs more users in your organization access Watershed, you’ll need a way to make sure they see information that’s relevant to them. With our new Multiple Dashboards feature, you can create as many dashboards as you need and control who can see them.

For instance, you can create a sales dashboard with cards that monitor sales KPIs, sales training, and CRM data while only granting access to your sales managers. You then can create another dashboard for your HR department that keeps up with training, compliance, and on-boarding data. In both instances, you fine-tune permissions so that only people in appropriate groups or with certain job titles see specific dashboards. For help setting up new dashboards, check out our help section or let us know if you want a walkthrough.

New Developer Debug Tool

Watershed Debugging FeatureWe understand the challenges when it comes to implementing xAPI into your systems—such as CRMs and LMSs. That’s why we’ve created new tools that allow your developers to connect to Watershed. Features include real-time, informative feedback that enables developers to quickly pinpoint issues as well as organize and archive any errors.

New Download Capabilities

Watershed Report DownloadYou’ve always been able to download the xAPI statements that help make up any of Watershed’s 11 card types. Now, you’re able to download the tabular data that creates the visualizations, even if the data originated from multiple sources. Create a correlation card that proves your training is improving KPIs and then download the data to perform additional analysis on your own. Create a range card that shows your team’s improvement over time and download the data all in one place. To download the data tables, go to the detail view of a card and click “Download Data Tables” in the top right corner of the card.
